Bangladesh is in the verge of leading the Information Technology in a very short amount of time. The fact is, there are 80 million mobile phone subscribers, 2.9 million Internet users, 2.7 million of those are using handheld device to browse internet and a leader in the ODESK/freelancer website to produce independent development of software and applications by individuals. This is the recipe for leapfrogging any nation in information technology. We do need a push, and that push is related to Cloud Computing, specifically IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. This conference is targeted to provide practical and applicable solution for Cloud Computing in the perspective of Bangladesh. We have also learnt about few implemented cloud solutions already in Bangladesh and benefit it brought to the table.

Outcome of the Camp:

The format of the conference is the style of ”unconference” and ”unpanel”. While it is free form, the camp also has some framework of discussion, where participants will learn:

How to build a cloud as IaaS and PaaS,
What should people look for as caveats,
Learning about a framework where people migrate our standard application to SaaS,
Cloud Security and Governance model,
Use cases in the Government Sector and Commercial Sector and
Any issue raised by the audience in presence.
